FILM AND TELEVISION
For the second year, CCA Film & TV student films will be
showcased at the TVIFF.

Opportunities such as these occur through unique partnerships that enable the students to experience real-world settings.

The Department of Film and Televison is designed for the budding young filmmaker with emphasis on the technical and creative skills necessary for a career in the entertainment industry. Students receive hands-on training by industry professionals in all areas required to take a film from storyboard to screen. Coursework includes Film Survey, Screenwriting, Storyboarding, Directing, Camera Operations, Editing, Sound Technology, Acting for Camera, and Film as a Business.

Film and Television students have the opportunity to participate in "on- location" activities at professional sets and studios throughout the Southland and have their work displayed at the CCA's annual Short Film Festival ay a local theatre and the opportunity to showcase their work in the top professional film festivals in Southern California. Internships are available for advanced students at KOCE-TV, Orange County's PBS affiliate.
